Desert Meal Fundraiser for Seminarians A Huge Success! The fundraiser to assist the seminarians from Sacred Heart Major Seminary was conducted on March 2nd at SCGS. The event was attended by over 70 participants and was a great success! Three seminarians, Jonathon Galvas, Br Andrew Collart and Charles Tackman shared their personal individual journeys to entering the seminary and their excitement regarding the upcoming Desert Formation Experience they will be embarking on very soon, All three are amazing men and are truly faith filled individuals! Please keep them and all seminarians in your prayers! We'd also like to thank Fr John Bettin and Fr Joe Lang for attending and for providing their support to this event and to all efforts creating a Culture of Vocations throughout the Archdiocese of Detroit. And thank you to those in attendance and supporting this worthy cause, especially the hosts and sponsors, the Detroit Oakland Serra Ministry, the Shrine Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Shrine Basilica Vocations Committee!
